The ECSR supports the Central European University in Budapest

On April 20, 2017, the ECSR sent letters of support for the academic freedom of the Central European University in Budapest to the Culture and Education Committee Chairman of the European Parliament, to the Vice President of the European Commission and to the European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport.

ECSR on Twitter

The ECSR has now a Twitter account, @ECSR_Soc.

With the Twitter account we can easily disseminate announcements, job vacancies, etc. If your institution/department has its own Twitter account, it makes sense if it starts to follow @ECSR_Soc. Also, please communicate this to your individual members, so they can be updated from the ECSR directly.

Your communication with the ECSR will not change; as an institutional representative you will still get e-mails by the ECSR which you can pass on to your students, department members etc. But if individual scholars or students want to follow the @ECSR_Soc on Twitter, they also have a more direct point of access to the information that is sent out by the ECSR Secretariat.
